Barker Corn Fest 5k Run/Walk

  • The race will start and finish near the Corner of Quaker Road and Main Street in Barker New York. We are excited to announce that the 5K course is now USATF certified!

  • Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. All participants who register by July 17th at 9am are guaranteed to receive an official Cornfest t-shirt in their desired size. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone. Packet pickup will take place at the Barker Public Library (start/finish line location) from 7:30am until the start of the race at 9am.

    Registration Fee: $25.00 through 6/30/26 then $30.00 through race day

  • Join us after the race for light food/snacks and the awards ceremony at the gazebo!

  • There will be plenty of free parking near the start/finish line. As the Corn Fest is gearing up that morning, try to park south of Main Street in the village, or at the Barker Fire Department.

  • Trophies will be presented to the top male and female runners. Age group winners will each receive a half dozen ears of corn to take home and enjoy! Custom finisher certificates and can also be downloaded for FREE from the results page.

    AGE GROUPS: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+

  • There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion, or offer a virtual alternative if necessary. 

  • Professional timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:



    Race participants can also use the ITSYourRace platform to view and share finish line photos with family and friends for free on Facebook. Custom finisher certificates can also be downloaded from the results page at no charge!
